Day 1:. Everything is ripped out! Including the floor!
. Floor = Ceramic tile STUCK to subfloor SCREWED to the sweet green tile (top), then underlayment
. The soffit area was all clear, with the exception of some electrical above the window (we removed the soffit so all cabinets can go to the ceiling)

I must say, I kind of dig that green tile.
